NEW DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - December 27, 2006
La Crosse, WI December 27, 2006 Main Street Ingredients, a supplier of dairy and food ingredients and a contract manufacturer for the sports nutrition, health and natural foods industries, has hired Guy Bouthillier as Director, Business Development.
Bouthillier brings 20 years of experience in the ingredient/food industry to this newly created positionmost recently as US Director of Sales for the Montreal-based Saputo Inc.
“In this new position, Guy will focus on developing innovative opportunities in food applications where Main Street’s functional, cost-effective ingredients can benefit food and beverage manufacturers,” says Bill Schmitz, President. “Guy has a strong technical background and will take the lead in this strategic business direction. We are pleased to have him on the team.”
Throughout his career, Bouthillier has marketed similar functional ingredients in North America. In addition, he earned a certificate in Marketing from the University of Montreal and a degree in recreation leadership at Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup, Québec, Canada.
