SUPERIOR RATING BY AIB INTERNATIONAL - May 5, 2006

La Crosse, WI – May 5, 2006 – Main Street Ingredients, a supplier of functional food ingredients and a contract manufacturer for the nutritional, sports, and natural food industries, has recently received a “Superior” rating from AIB International.

For the eighth consecutive year, Main Street Ingredients has earned AIB International’s “Superior” rating. Food processing facilities must receive a minimum score of 900 out of 1,000 possible points to achieve a “Superior” rating – Main Street scored 940.

Main Street Ingredients’ quality and product safety programs have been inspected and rated annually by AIB International, an independent inspection firm. AIB International’s auditors review the condition of the plant, as well as the adequacy of food safety management, operational methods, cleaning practices, and maintenance for food safety.
