Primary responsibilities include quality related checks and issues in a production environment which includes daily interaction with production and warehouse employees. May include preparing and maintaining quality related documents. Additional responsibilities may include general laboratory testing duties, data entry of lab results into a computerized system, filing and organizing lab information accurately.
Qualifications and physical requirements: prefer working knowledge of GMP’s and HACCP in a food-manufacturing environment; bachelor or associate degree in a science or dairy-related field a plus; constant exposure to chemical/solvents, noise from lab equipment, dust and food allergens; ability to lift up to 20 lbs.; continuous standing/walking, frequent squatting/kneeling and bending/stooping.
