In 1989, under the leadership of CEO Dave Clark, Main Street Ingredients began at a Main Street location in downtown La Crosse.

The years since have been a time of growth, reinvesting in infrastructure and building strategic alliances with key partners. Those early years on Main Street were the stepping stones that paved the way to the solid growth the company now enjoys. Last year alone, Main Street Ingredients shipped over 125 million pounds of product to our customers worldwide.

1999 Purchased DMV USA’s assets
2001 Became a 100% locally held corporation
2002 Added 64,000 sq. ft. of production and warehouse capacity
2004 Installed new agglomeration system
2005 Added 44,000 sq. ft. of warehouse
Designed and built a new R&D Center
2006 Acquired Hilton House Foods, Wichita, Kansas
Installed new progressive specialty processor
2007 Expanded facility by 22,000 sq. ft. that houses new quality control lab, conference rooms, lunchroom, employee locker rooms and office space
